The author actually self inserted themselves into the plot. They were the guy that took too much cocaine and assaulted the prime Minister's daughter. To me honestly the only way this has any chance of redemption at this point is mehk needs to be really fucking mad maybe even be straight up mean and not forgive her until there is actually some character development
