Thanks for the chapter; guess it worked out? he should consider himself lucky for surviving after kicking the ghost. And while everyone might not believe, i'm surprised it wouldn't be a traditional thing for some kinda blessing/exorcism everytime a house is sold/put up for rent or so, not that they always work in these stories

Thanks for the chapter. I suppose this story plays on the common Japanese complaint of small/shared living arrangements and the breach/loss of privacy where you might want it most.

Funnily enough there is indeed a manga with that premise. It's called Welcome to Ghost Mansion and it does a great job of merging comedy with horror. Definitely check it out if you have the chance.

The ghost that haunts your house brings you and your friends plum juice and doesn't charge rent. Doesn't sound too bad, really. What's our evidence that things could have gone wrong, that this kid fainted once and no other harm came to him while he was unconscious? Hell, it didn't even fight him when he kicked it out of the room. That's not a hostile monster, by my reckoning.
