@captain_crunch - from what I understood from the novel explanation, the robot did not teleport anywhere, she just scryed other worlds with magic. But yes, the MC was teleported from Earth to this world, and it seems to be a "quantum teleportation" kind of deal, where his body was re-constructed in the fantasy world.
So world travel isn't outright impossible, but at least very hard.
