Does anybody else read this as if it were in universe propaganda by zeon? Like something their comms department would broadcast on TV to boost morale, and keep the public's favor mid war times? In this chapter for example, Mari telling to Ban how it's ok for them to ration food because soldiers are doing worse while fighting for them. Sounds a lot like those WWII propaganda pieces.
