the novel seems to encompass 11 volumes so far. it's really curious why the manga takes as long though, unless they only do volumes to spark interest in the novel. artist also seems quite active on fanbox, so i really don't get the situation here.

Artist got postherpetic neuralgia due to shingles and because of treatment been unable to work properly for a long time (nerve block injections and infusion treatments every 2-3 days), though on her before end of year health update tweet, she said the treatment have been reduced to just medication, so probably there will be updates for either MotoMusu or this, maybe lol, aside the artist keep having health problems since some years ago already, like 2021 or so

Yeah just re-check it is the LN thx for clarifying, also did check the artist's twitter for abit and saw some of her personal project being updated recently guessing with the anime confirmed and her medical condition in mind it's a given that this manga is on hiatus I guess

Hiatus is due to the accident. I got involved in a very minor accident, hit by a guy pulling out of a parking lot into our side, and even now 5 almost 6 months later I'm still suffering some of the knock-on effects.
