Really enjoyed this series, the art and story feel so endearing and quirky and memorable. Feels like it ended prematurely but Mapollo 3 still did a good job making the characters’ motivations shine, even the short-lived notions. Tsubame grew a lot, but she also stayed the same and true to herself + Koko + Rui.
This series and At Summer’s End seem like Shueisha’s more uncharacteristic (experimental?) publications, and I’m always glad to see publishers take the chance on these kind of works.
