I imagine he can’t just buy a house but I assume even renting an apartment he prolly needs some kinda legal papers unless his anti magic certification is enough but I imagine he might not necessarily want to just move in, tho potential awkwardness aside maybe the manager has a spare room

But considering how much he got paid for this job (he immediately accepted when he heard the price so I imagine that’s more than what they pay normal Korean convenience store clerks) maybe rent is also high or so compacted to him living at his current place
