its called squirrel coin, but to save metal they don't mint coins, they just hand out live squirrels. hope you are strong enough to carry around cages(wallets) with 30+ squirrels.

stupid jokes aside. I really like how this series manages to have both emotional deep scenes about all kinds of personal problems of its characters, but also have slapstick like humor and it still works together well somehow

It's part of how it did it as well, To begin with the setting is decent for allowing new things to be added to the scene just because it's a public space. Secondly it didn't go from Serious to Comedy and then try and get rid of all the tone. IT was Comedy with Tension. The joke was there for a second before the seriousness was back in full force. A short reprise to detach this event from being directly a part of the last scene.
