The situations mc find himself in are always wtf so I don't know what to expect, and that's a great thing.
The settings and their explanations are boring, so I skip it everytime it pops up, and that's a bad thing (the majority of it is in the first two chapters).
To conclude, pretty good so far.

It's a fairly straightforward slice of life story about our MC who ends up getting a job at a magical convenience store. Largely it focuses on the weird customers and situations he finds himself in, and is blessedly free from a lot of the more typical drama.

He does end up having a "cheat" power, but while pretty strong it isn't something that's exclusive to him so it doesn't feel too immersion breaking.

The art and characters are also very pleasing, which makes it a fun read if you're looking for something lighter.

The best thing about this manhwa is how real it always feels. It doesn't exaggerate - well, sometimes a little, with the flowers and facial expressions - but the people are, well, people. In the background, it's just people living their lives, while the forefront of the story doesn't turn your characters into the good ol' high school romcom trope characters with depth: no, the characters are just that. It doesn't make the rich child into a brat, the struggling adult is just so down to Earth, and overall this aspect just hits right.

Alongside this is that convenience store experience that the author totally gets. The different people coming in and out, who you don't particularly notice because it's nighttime and people are just people, ya know. And then there are the once in awhile crazies who leave an imprint or the regulars you notice because they're a bit strange. It's even the little details, such as the panic button or getting the contact of an unruly person who damaged your store so that they can pay reparations.

It's also the everyday smartness of the characters that hits me right every single time. For example,
There was a cat robber who attempted to speak english so that the clerk couldn't question him, because he assumed the clerk couldn't speak english and wouldn't know that his english was bad.
Or, the store clerk gets a phone that can fix things so when an angry business partner breaks some stuff because her other business partner fucked up, it shows him fixing the damages. I mean, this isn't even a "smart" thing, it's just the detail to include that and diligently tying up loose ends that makes me love what the artist has been doing.

Anyway, this is definitely a 10/10 for me. It's not anything too special, to be honest, but it hits all the right buttons. Maybe you don't think it's 10/10 but imo as long as it does everything right and well, it's a 10/10, even if it's not the mega-deep masterpiece of a manhwa that impacts your philosophy and makes you think about life differently. Anyway, peak. Love it.

Hold up. How is he a part timer if he works twelve hours a day, seven days a week..?
Lol I just asked this in one of the later chapters. I thought the first mention of "part-time" was a mistaken translation but then they say it again later a few times.

It's part-time life if anything.

Not sure how it is over in Korea, but in many places in the US the difference between full-time and part-time is what kind of benefits you get and not how many hours you work.

When I worked at a grocery store I was a full-time employee which meant I got health insurance, a week's paid vacation, and a week of sick time. All of my coworkers were part-time and didn't get those benefits, even if they worked the same amount of hours I did.

It varies by state though; some do force employers to give full-time benefits to employees working more than 32 hours a week.
