@trapsarebetter No, most people would not want to switch gender if that meant being more attractive, that's absurd.
And yes, a good percentage of people would play around with it for a day or two, but after that they'll move on, most highschool boys definitely wouldn't be interested in playing dress-up as the other gender, and probably wouldn't do it even if they were.

That's not what I meant my bad, obviously female protag games will still get played, but when given a choice between a male or female char, the majority will stick to their gender, that's an indisputable fact.

Certainly, they would; here's a poll that asked if one would switch one's gender for a year if one could. 50% of females said “yes”, and 46% of males did so too, and this s without the added guarantee of “You will be super attractive when you do so.”; here is another one with a “maybe” option that asks for permanently, fewer responses, but again, 40% says “yes”, and 30% say “no” and “maybe”, what you call “absurdity” is reality.

Certainly they would — any takers?.

If it be an indisputable fact, you should source it — because I have an interesting statistic for you: 84% of all World of WarCraft players is male, but only 58% of all played characters is.

Even in the absolute best case scenario that all female players play a female character, that still means that 31% of male players play a female character. Of course, that number is going to be even higher, because male females are playing a male character, In the hypothetical case that half of female players play a male character, it's 41% of males that play a female character.

So repeatedly, what you call “indisputable facts” and don't back up with sources are primā faciē almost certainly false, looking at polls and statistics.

First, didn't mean to turn this into an argument, I'm sorry.

So, your polls prove nothing, internet polls will have more open minded people take them, and those are for "a year" or "at will" (2nd one is basically a superpower), and even if they favored your opinion, those polls have less than 50 people take them, so this would prove nothing. And since you're the one making wild claims, I'm not required to give you sources, as I'm sure you know.

Certainly they would — any takers?.
Okay, that's 4chan, one of the websites with the biggest Transgender pools, you can't seriously believe this means anything ?

For this one, I'm the one who made a claim, your 2nd link has no sources btw. Here's my actual source; https://www.ign.com/articles/2010/09/06/crazy-mass-effect-2-stats-and-what-theyre-used-for

Won't "air boob" will just hurt you even more? I don't really understand how boob works, so take this with a grain of salt though.
