Coming from Togid, he would probably say something akin to "having each party think they are the one ahead when in truth we are the ones that benefit".
But, given chapter 50, it would be way funnier if he said "muscles." and Theo agreed in some way. (I'd hate it latter though, but it'd be funny nonetheless.)

I'm glad and thankful this manga is up to date.

BTW is this woman the first female Haupi character in the series? Light [blonde?] hair, light sclerae, full lips, very defined body...
If she is then all characters of Haupi ancestry are in Liaisons... Haupi are pretty under-represented in the Central Library (except maybe the Syrrana).

these chapters have really focused on how idealistic, if not naive at times, theo is. togid calling the rakta theory nothing but armchair philosophy shows how theo's knowledge isn't "wordly" enough and he might need to learn more from real practice than by reading books. seeing how the continent is on the verge of war, i wonder how all of that will play out.

on another note, this test really showed how ohgga would've fit in personnel, though she also seems like a great fit for liaisons

i guess so. considering the haupi were on the brink of extinction due to the Piep Piper Massacre just a 100 years ago (the Haupi Magus saved them before went to face the Emissary of Wrymwood), the Haupi probably retreated into their own territory/country and went xenophobic against the other races. and kinda align with their current philosophy (Muscle above everything) as a way to cope with the recent trauma they as a race experienced. then again, their culture do seems to worship/extol the physical body as their medical knowledge is the most extensive. and dont forget the obscenely numerous statues or carvings of a certain male anatomy in their capital😂😂.

I think the Haupi, as presented so far, were politically and culturally isolated or detached from the other races -except maybe towards the Syranna whom they revere- even before the Calamity. So far there are no mention of them conquering/dominating others unlike the Hyron, Kadoe, Rakta, even Creyak.

The phallic statues were a parody/allusion to the real-world fertility festivals celebrated in Japan like Kanamara Matsuri. There's also a Shinto penis temple (kinda forgot the name) with a lot of statues of you know what.
