This one's a classic on the same vein as Love Hina, if you like mushy rom-coms and have never read it... well you're doing something wrong with your life.

Someone is redoing this, so you who read this should grab the chance to discover a really good manga. Someone already mentioned Love Hina, and the setting is similar because both mangas grabbed it from 80s classic Maison Ikkoku. Ken Akamatsu (Love Hina) had no problems admitting to that in an interview I read.
Kojima populates this familiar setting with lots of strange and interesting characters, whose side stories are also interesting (unlike most romcoms). In short, this manga is both funny and moving, with lots of surprising twists. Give it a try.
