Took me a while to understand what was going on, till I figured out the story is non linear. Some stuff is flashbacks to when Tamaki and Chiyo were in high school if I'm not mistaken. Despite the confusion, this is really sweet. I was shocked to see a non-binary character, in what seems like a queerplatonic relationship so casually shown. It makes me very happy : -)
