The translator is completely right. If ViVid isn't canon, then the person who decided that is a terrorist too.
The way Victoria pampers Sieg is adorable. Canon ship btw.

The weirdest part is how it should be so easy to dismiss a gag manga like this as definitely not part of the main canon. But stuff from Life has been repeatedly referenced. To add another example from this same chapter, Victoria carrying around extra clothes for Sieg is also brought up in Vivid Strike ep13 when Sieg wears her bathing suit to the beach and forgets to bring dry underwear. It seems like if you take out the few chapters of Life about advertising the series, what's left over really is getting treated as part of the main canon.

I'm starting to suspect Nekotofu has a thing for girls wetting themselves. It's come up multiple times in Onii-chan is Done For as well. Not that it's bad, it's just kind of amusing how often it happens.
