This was awesome, and I didn't even watch Nanoha.
Time to fix that mistake, I guess.

Anyone says this was awesome should think again. Go ahead and read Nanoha Force, a pure crap of the series. I dropped a whole series because of it.

To fit with the original series, this series need a lot more pointless winking.

@yurirei, please give more thoughts to your comments! Pure crap — which could at least be used to fertilize plants — is far better stuff than that manga.

What did you mean?
In the main series (as opposed to this 4-koma), the women frequently have one eye closed for no reason based in the flow of other events; it's just something that the illustrator thinks is appealing in-and-of-itself or adds variation.

I see. Well, can't expect anything from such a poor series like this. The very first 2 seasons were so good but... I feel like they only want to pay x0.5 in order to earn x100

When I said "this is amazing", I obviously meant Vivid Life, not the entire Nanoha series which I hadn't even watched at the time.
Vivid Life isn't bad just because Force is.

Although I personally didn't enjoy Nanoha as a series, now that I've actually watched it.
I also dropped the series after watching Nanoha, A's, StrikerS, and Vivid, but Vivid Life is actually pretty funny. It's the only worthwhile installment in my opinion.

To me, Vivid is quite boring and Vivid life is nothing more than a yuri-bait. The Force and Vivid are strongly linked to each other, so one problem leads to the other (like a chain). One's suck, the rest will likely be the same. This is true in the case.

About the old series, I can only tell it was great in 2 first seasons. StrikerS gave me a vibe of lack of material. The fighting style is disguised as magic, so which is which? Suck! Also, it introduces so many characters which makes the characters to plain, simple and boring. I can assure there are a lot characters in the 3rd but I couldn't remember them.

It's hard to say. Vivid Life was obviously designed with Vivid in mind.
But since its story runs parallel to Vivid's, you should understand most of it without watching Vivid.

The biggest difficulty you'll have is with the characters.
They're introduced with little more than a text box with their name in it, and the manga assumes you already know who they are (more or less).
It still does basic explanation, but nothing in-depth.

Also, since it runs parallel to the original story, many events just happen behind the scenes.
For example, this manga starts with the girls training for an upcoming tournament, then suddenly they already know some of their rivals and may have already fought with them.

Still, it doesn't heavily rely on events from the original, and it's comedy, so you might be able to still read it without watching Vivid.
At least, that's my personal opinion. Your mileage may vary.

That is unfortunate, all though I totally get you, at this time I also feel like I don't like this series as a whole. I still think the first anime series is great tho and A's also is good, even if it is more Hayate's story. A's was kinda just a great story that happened to have Nanoha and Fate in it. The rest of the series is a mess and I don't think that's why the fans like it, all the other stuff is just being carried by how much people love the first series is my feeling.

I did like most of the Vivid anime, it was a bit bizarre to suddenly be watching a slice of life loli sports series, but Vivio and the new characters are likable and it's a very easy going series. The story on the other hand not so much, but who knows if the conclusion would have made it all come together, I guess I'll have to read the manga maybe.

Oh and let's not forget how cute Corona is, it was hilarious that Corona ended up being the climax of the anime. Corona's personality in this series is also hilarious for different reasons :D

[might as well use this double post for something]
