Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete gets a 2nd season

This wouldn't be surprising in other genres, but the fact that an explicit yuri series is getting a second season is completely exceptional. Of course, this shows how popular it has become in Japan and the producer has helped to reach a broader audience, even so it opens the door for more works of the same genre receiving attention. I hope more people here are thrilled about the news and are looking forward to know more about this new season, I am the type to check Anilist but I prefer to talk about the series here. I tried to watch this, and had to stop partway through the second episode - the combination of cringe and softcore porn was too much for me to want to continue. I like the manga, but something about trying to translate it to anime just pushes it way over the top.

Yes, sometimes the same series can cause different impressions in paper and in anime, I laughed more reading the manga as for the anime I loved Utena voice. There's also the part about omitted chapters for the adaptation, the pacing gets changed but I least it remained coherent, so even if it's not ideal I hooked some friends this way.

Also, the anime being lewder than the manga can change the impression you have of it, for the better or worse. For me, it was for the better.

At this point I think I will arrive at the time where comics like Ureshon! and Rosen Garten Saga will be on broadcast TV of Japan.
