Maybe I'm just overthinking things, but I find it interesting that only Utena gets the start-shaped pupils. I thought this when Kiwi was introduced, and now that Korisu has been introduced it reminded me of this inconsistency between the three of them. I mean sure it might be just a part of her visual aesthetic, just like Korisu's aesthetic being the star-shaped stigmata on her forehead, but it's clear that Venalita is focusing most of it's efforts on Utena. That, combined with what it said back in chapter 5 about how "another one of her heart restraints have come off" and how such a thing is "all according to plan" suggests there's far more to Utena then what is readily shown. I'm very much looking forward to finding out what is so special about Utena, aside from her sadistic tendencies and ability to attract the (potentially) sexual romantic attention of multiple girls.
