Aside from how we are all in agreement on how insane and unfair this is (and also how nonsensical, in a lot of ways), this is just… wow.
I mean, great fiction and writing, I guess—definitely gets the point across that a lot of the fundamental values they have are kinda different.
Not that it hasn’t already been said, but the fact that the VICTIMS are the ones blamed and subsequently tortured after being punished… That’s like, wtf.
Love the MC aspiring to make the world a better place in their own way through their own strengths and logic. Pretty nice. Can’t wait for more.
Like a different comment also said—this kangaroo court is just… Oof. Glad that the MC is able to just overturn it and make a miraculous change, fr. Might even go down in the history books…??
Crazy how the judge recomposed themselves so quickly—and why the other people acting so normal about it too?? Or at least more than they should be.
