If it were just an isolated incident I could see how that might happen. But honestly it's happening to a lot of the small independent translators. So I think it's something deeper.

My WAG is that there have been a Crack down on the groups that paywall their chapters. So I could see them getting a bit of revenge by reporting MD translators that didn't overtly monetize their work.

The translators are the heart of any manga site like MD. The more difficult it is for translators to spend time translating and uploading chapters, the more it hurts MD in the long run.
