whether any given toy is effective or not highly depends on the person, because bodies, sensitivities, tastes, etc etc vary widely. that being said, looking at the product page on tenga's site, it seems like you grip the stand part between your fingers (like pictured on page 3) and press/rub the shaped part against yourself wherever you please. like page 2 says, it seems to be for people who prefer really gentle stimulation, one review on the site says they like it since they're pretty sensitive and susceptible to infections, so they like how it's both gentle and clean. another says the wetness + soft texture makes it feel kind of like a mouth? the more you know!

While it's true that Love and Deepspace is a gooner game mainly for women with the amount of sexual scenes, the menstrual tracker is not part of the gooning. It's a fanservice especially because of the character dialogue but not gooning. Menstruation is not comfortable ffs.
