I mean I can, somewhat understand the sword, its (their?) job is to cut flesh to live, and they are freaking proud and good at doing that job.

It's the same as a garbage man doing their job, they do like their city/town/hamlet getting cleaner, but they greatly appreciate not being disparaged or hated for doing it.

If a job needs doing, better doing good. If a job is necessary, better doing it while not being hated or causing pain for other you like.

@motokare , thank you very much for bringing this series to us with such a high bar for quality. Each chapter has been nothing short of a delight to read so far, and reading it here on Mangadex, the occasional chapter notes and the comment section, I'll definitely miss all of it.

Maybe this series will be like Tsumiki Ogami and it'll have a somewhat healthy discussion community in reddit (if it gets a digital web release), but even if not, that's just how things go and that's okay.

Thanks for the all the scanlastions. I doubt we get the same amount of love from the official, mainly because I doubt they would dare explaining the origins of the fetishes in this series or even get the context at all. It's those little extra touch that make me like fan translation more than official. I learn so much more about the context, culture, and language when fans does it than a company. God, the amount of thing I would missed from comedy series without the tl notes.
