Quite interesting that on page 23 Doc added "unlike me, a human" (@motokare, if you up for fixing typos - you missed a comma there), when telling that incubi are a species that could survive without taking lives.

He's a serial killer, and gleefully admitted to such, and you only turned him into a woman and allowed him to continue living?... AND it turns out that their particular species can turn into other genders naturally, so it's hardly a punishment anyway.

The main idea is that Doctor locked away his concubi powers, and made him pretty much a human - something he obviously considers extremely humiliating. Fixing him in female body is just an icing on a cake, to fuck with his sexual preferences.
Death is too easy, prolonged humiliation IS a good punishment for a narcissist asshole like that.
Also, Hippocratic Oath trope and all that.

I'd agree if he wasn't continuing to live a fairly decent life under the doctor's tutelage, and also been promised to have the spell broken at some point (if I'm recalling correctly?).

Well, true, he doesn't look as much humiliated as he possibly could later on, but i'd trust Doc to not undo the spell until he's 100% reformed.

i mean other than demons not being allowed in town i'd think his real form is attractive enough to where there'd be ppl willing in like a brothel but i guess his preferences are shitty

i wonder if we'll get a prologue/origin story for why he's so strong; guess at his age he might've had years of exp being an adventurer before 'retiring'/settling into a doctor role
