With all respect, putting those TNs at the beginning is a bad decision.
a) It may spoil the chapter.
b) The reader does not know the context, so they won't really get it and will probably not absorb the information.
c) The reader will probably not go back to reread them after they get the context.
Unicorn only cares if they've taken the D. Doc may be straight and still be in the clear.
