i think the problem is that he's used to be in the spotlight for too long, being a son and the heir of one of the ten master's clan, thus he felt too entitled sometimes. I feel like he's not actively trying to be friends with Miyuki nor her friends at least, and he understands her at a surface level, like an idol and a fan. Tatsuya properly gave him chances and he failed all of them miserably.

At first I pitied him so much for wasted potential (so different like the movie made him be, as a proper rival). I hope he could do better, later on.

I'm more interested in the scanlation's team project next! I hope you can continue with Mahouka project please 🙏🙏🙏
