the cons
2 insane people (named celes and luna) end up falling for both mc's. celes falls for a disguised FL and is devastated when he finds out she's already married + has been using a fake name AND she's engaged to the guy who was always being compared to him, so he cursed FL. It was revealed later on that his hatred on Edi is bigger than his love with FL so he would curse her either way. Luna is someone delusional, had someone put a curse on FL (apparently a no sleep spell), celes is captured first and then she kidnaps FL and attempts to murder her afterwards (she kept her alive cuz she had to monologue her evil plan). She believes FL doesn't deserve to be with Edi because status wise, she's a much better fit so once she dies, she'll use the opportunity to console Edi. FL is saved and gets a slap and half agrees with her, only that she deserves to be with Edi (as a person and not as a black mage). Luna believes to the very end that Edi will look into her way.

The next arc, the spoilers end here but a flirt once more entert their lives, flirts with our FL in front of Edi and she does nothing to solve it. Something gets stolen (I think it was her ring) and she has to be a maid in the flirt's household. So, again negative reactions.

@Hypothon that's disappointing but a lot of stories turn to shit after the 1st arc because the author has no idea how to advance the story other than creating drama. I've seen a lot of instances of authors not knowing when to conclude a story.
