@Equilibrium Not in my opinion. It's frustrating. I hope this is just a really long intro. So far it has been utterly pointless for her to possess the memories of her previous life. Living as the daughter of a noble household in the capital, she hasn't even needed to use her modern knowledge to make her life better. In fact, she hasn't done pretty much anything at all. You might say she fixed Eddy's personality somewhat, but unfortunately his seven years at the academy, separated from her, reverted those fixes.

Wow. The heroine is just so passive. She's not really part of the plot at all. She's an observer.

And she's trapped with this asshole who isn't nice to her and won't even have conversations about the important things happening in his life.

Imagine if he told her about the internal politics with the wizards. Then she could help him maneuver and maybe do some political spying on the nobility side. She doesn't necessarily need powers or position to be important to the plot. But the way he treats her is demeaning.

I want her to DO something. LEAVE. Find a new love interest. Study something you're passionate about. Start a children's charity. Learn to juggle. Anything that isn't waiting around for a dull asshole to decide that you're worth treating like a person.

@merope She's kinda trapped. She got engaged without realizing what she was doing. And she is scarred thanks to Eddy so she really has no marriage options.

And I mean he is almost never there and tells no one about their engagement so I think it makes little difference. She is clearly resigned and not happy at all. I get more she is sad over the loss of her friend than lovesick.
