Lily is fully aware that people expect her to be the voice of reason. I wonder if she considers that more curse than blessing?

Somehow is getting boring with each chapter, dunno how to describe, there is just no excitement on it.

@Serverclosed Like it’s deviating from its original premise? Like the focus of this group of oddballs learning to become a family, which most likely was what drew most people to this manga in the first place, is being buried by other side-plots?

@AnonDePlume That too I guess, but this go more for the importance of plot, this is suppose to open investigation of the hunter (and cult) thing it looks incredibly irrelevant of how things are handled. Also the cute family for stupid reasons are forced on those plots. It may have a lot better if things happened behind scene or unknowing to the MC and then something happen that draw directly to her, but not by chance like is happening now.

Jill...
I'm conflicted between "No danger for the precious daughter" and "She's growing up so fast..." ;A;

Yeah, Lily's people skills are second to none. Rather than head maid, they could easily hire her to be an international diplomat and she'd still kick ass at it. The power of Common Sense is amazing!

As much as I like this series and enjoy every chapter, it sometimes feels like all the other characters are made too dumb just to make Lily appear more wise and sound with her words and reasoning. If you consider the present company, it's made of the highest class of people among humans and elves, grand mages, nobles, royals, yet their rationality is weirdly impaired and their communication ability oddly limited. We do know Leonard is kind of an Asperger's case, but the others shouldn't surely be. I suppose this is the easiest way to give Lily an important role seeing how the story deprived her of all of the usual bonuses a reincarnator/summoned person would have, but I wouldn't sometimes mind more subtlety. That being said, the little squirt Jill actually is quite smart.

@Kaarme:

There are loads of things wrong with this story's writing, and ham-handedly setting things up for our protagonist to soapbox periodically, at the expense of other characters, is definitely one of them that pops up.

I don't care, I love it anyway. Almost everyone in this comes across as ludicrously socially awkward sometimes (even when the author doesn't intend that, I think) but it's just so damn wholesome.

Page 23 "If Miriam WERE..." Was is way too colloquial, since she is grand posing...

If those attackers were smart, they might realize that Jill's presence means Sir Leonard's involvement, and that it would be prudent to back off at least temporarily. But maybe they are just that confident in their own abilities that they don't care
