@Kaarme Well, in many ways the setting seems more getting into sort of Jane Austen, Napoleonic era style than medieval. By that time your nobility still have tons of servants, but not men at arms--the military is more nationalized. So it's not too implausible.

Kind of off topic but, how much strength do you need to exert to "dig in your nails" to bleed? Like several cases and examples of this happening but how strong do you really need to clench your fist until your palm blrrd?
