True and real couldn't agree more and i'll be there with you to say it too
AN ALLY! But in all seriousness im just genuinely getting utterly sick of the troupe, for some reason a girl can be as much as a bitch as a possible but be forgiven for legitimately no reason due to a backstory and her pretending she was trying to help out the mc

I mean yeah, Honestly its just disappointing at this point. Yeah this girl as been manipulated by her "friends" and the guy she went out with but it still NOT IN ANY KIND OF WAY salvage her from what she has done to the MC.

I'm sorry but having this garbage pile of human beings as a social group is entirely her fault lol. And some could say that she was manipulated and did not realize what she has done but its just a plain lie. Why ? Because she felt bad about what she was doing so SHE KNEW that it was wrong.

Pretending like you care at the last second and saying sorry wont fix any issue. And if it ever does, its just that it wasn't one in the first case.
Not anything that happened here could explain what she has done. I'm ngl in the beginning I really though that she had been drugged or even been held hostage (or something like that) 'cause that's the only thing that'd justify having behaviors like this. Jokes on me she was just a bitch :kek:

Wtf? Why is everyone hating on her? She's obviously on MC's side. She practically told him to stop with the worrying and just get together already.

I swear, y'all get hit with that "I don't like you" and suddenly all the brain cells fly out the window. Kudos to the handful of people in these comments who aren't complete idiots.
She is provoking the MC with her attitude, she made it seem like she was trying to pick on FMC, she speaks through her teeth instead of being forward and upfront. She straight out tells MC she hates his guts. She may say and think she is on MC's side, but it really just feels like she's an arrogant, manipulative person who thinks she knows what's best for everyone, but doesn't take the risk of being upfront about it, therefore there are no risks for her intruding and saying what she wants without any explanation...and then walks away.

Is that enough reason to dislike her? Or do you need more?

Mangadex readers when a female character isn't nice to the MC when he gives no reason to be: 😡

The literacy crisis is real and strong.
Did you miss the part where she clearly tells him she hates him? I don't know about you, but where I come from that's usually reason enough to at least have a bit of negative feelings for someone like that...

Also, arrogance is not an attractive feature if you want people to like you.

I can read, yes, which means I also didn't miss other stuff instead of laser focusing on one line at the very end.

Because she says she "doesn't like him", but that’s what she says, not how she acts. Throughout the entire get-together, despite her proclaimed dislike, she consistently shut down her friends from bothering the guy, and then arranged events so he and Charlotte could get a romantic moment. And then literally after she says she "doesn't like him", she still gives him the advice to stop dwelling on the past and focus on the fact that there is a girl right now who likes him for who he is.

Her actions and words do not line up for someone who supposedly doesn't like the guy and that seems very deliberate. Given the entire context, it seems obvious to me that what she means is she doesn't like his self-sabotaging attitude rather than having an actual hatred of him.

Yet people called her a bitch despite her not doing any bitchy stuff, aside from, at worst, teasing both leads, and that's not a crime. Reading comprehension means understanding the context of what is written, not take just one line at face value, but nah, that's clearly that's too much work, better to base our entire judgements on first impressions and one lines.

First impressions matter. I'm gonna be clear, I don't like her character archetype. I know she's probably a good character that will get developed, but any time a character like her (wether is male or female) just puts me in a bad mood and makes me want to hate on them. That's just me though...annoying arrogant know-it-alls do have their place...in the garbage bin.
I also don't like meddlers, I'm on the same boat as many others here, we're here for the main couple, screw overcomplicated back stories that will just stain the story with needless characters and drama.
