Almost 30 chapters of the MC acting like some tragic heroine. With barely any resolution on that.

I hate when rom-coms put a situation in stasis to pad things out. Almost as much as I hate when the MCs defining feature is them being such a "nice guy" it's boring.

To be honest I only started recently to get into manga and I have no clue what objectively makes a good manga. But I am invested in this one like omfg Emma is sooooo cute and Charlotte is just the perfect partner for Aoyagi. I really enjoy reading this, the illustration are amazing too. I absolutely love this manga :>

Review after 28 chaps:

Ah yes… another cute rom-com.
You like that stuff?
Of course you do.
You’re here. Once you start reading, you are already cooked.

This is one of those series that doesn’t reinvent the wheel, it polishes the same wheel you’ve been pushing since chapter 1 of your manga life. And you know what? Sometimes you don’t want steak. Sometimes you want instant ramen with an egg on top. This is that.

The MC has a cute foreign schoolgirl neighbor and her little sister living right next door. Congratulations. Your isekai didn’t work, but fate still said “here, have an every girl likes you starter pack.”

Our MC is absurdly kind, pretending he’s cold and absolutely not fooling anyone (mostly, unless they’re background characters lmfao) Yes, you’ve seen him before. You’ve probably seen him ten times this month. But let’s be real, you never drop these guys. You sigh, say “not again,” and then read 20 chapters anyway.

The pacing is comfy. The plot is safe. The drama is light. Nothing here is bad, it’s just aggressively okay. And honestly?
What’s wrong with okay?

Not every series has to emotionally destroy you, redefine romance, or leave you staring at the ceiling at 3 a.m. questioning your existence. Sometimes you just want fluff, awkward blushing, intentional cheek kissing, and a couple of “WAIT, DID SHE JUST DO THAT?” moments.

You’ll read it, enjoy it, complain about it, then keep reading anyway. Because in the end… Okay is okay. And sometimes, okay is exactly what your rom com addicted soul needs.
