Because it is. No self-respecting girls would propose going to a boy's room when only a few hours ago were strangers. Furthermore, why would the girl insist that much? You already gave him cookies. It doesn't matter how you were almost kidnapped, asking to come over was a bit much, although probably explained how she was almost kidnapped before if I were to be more callous. Just told him to stay for dinner or made him lunch. Even straight up paying him wouldn't be that weird. I experienced it myself at least, although not with a girl.

The MC also didn't make an effort to at least tidy up his apartement a bit despite knowing someone, especially a girl, was going to come over. I know she was coming to clean but at least try to make the place presentable. Even me with a negative EQ could understood that much, the MC must've been more inept at social life than an intellectually challenged person.

Yeah as a woman a lot of these aspects of the story make me feel uncomfortable and hence why I said a lot of this feels forced lol. Like, I might appreciate a guy for helping me out. And even if I knew him well I wouldn't wanna go over to his house. To me that would feel like the DANGER ZONE but also make me feel like this relationship is transactional.
