Not too goyish to be good, I just can't come up with like 4 Jewish jokes about any given chapter, because it leaks into everything in the main series.

It couldn't not! Nishi is clearly FULLY immersed.

If you know, you know. If you don't, you would need months of classes to get it.

Nishi is pretty clearly very into Judaism, at this point. 100% sure she is now officially part of the tribe. No one studies Hasidic stories and inserts references to them into the plot of their work (and does that sort of stuff often) without being a Yid.

I have used Judaism to predict future plot points with a very high degree of accuracy. Not 100%, because she's not a one-note writer, but if you're part of a culture, it ends up in what you do. That's kind of what culture is.
