And more importantly, she fills the important role of a kohai who admires Iruma, which is something he never got to experience before.

AND most importantly of all, she’s legitimate competition for Amelie which will keep her from getting too complacent in her position as top girl and drive her to be more bold.

The harem element was always a part of the story. You do realize the MC's group is basically a 3 member polycule of platonic lovers at this point like he even calls them soulmates. Plus there are many women and men aiming for him.
