Ah, I expected them to use something to blackmail Callego.

So far evil Iruma isn't so much evil but just more assertive.

@Elhao the "evil" cycle doesn't make someone evil, but it rather digs out the deepest side someone buries inside of them. Iruma doesn't have "evil" in him, but he sure is assertive, calculative, manipulative, and cunning. What holds him back is his down-to-earth personality and mindset.

I think.

I like how even with his personality inverted, Iruma is still a nice guy. He just manifests it differently.

The hatred from WHT isn't from the sub-par translation. I've seen much worse that I deal with just fine, like Oresama Teacher and other stuff which aren't even scanned properly, like pictures taken with a phone and translations added weirdly on that. WHT are genuinely a bunch of dickbags with huge ego for no reason. They barely release one chapter a month even though their translations are shit and this is a weekly series. But whenever someone else tries to do a better job, their output suddenly increases? Look at when Deus Vult started to translate this, they released 8 chapters 10 months ago, and harassed Deus Vult on their various channels, and when Deus Vult folded, they went back to one chapter a month. Even now when /a/ picked up this series, their output suddenly increased again, too bad for them /a/ isn't one person and is anonymous.

@KaitouRobin /a/ isn't really like a normal TL group, when they picked up Atsumare, it went from being in an even worse position than Iruma was to being up to date.

I like how this version of Iruma is just more confident and assertive rather than something villainous. He makes a very good leader, able to sway people and use their individual talents to great extent. Maybe the real Iruma can learn to be more confident after seeing what happens when he applies himself.

@wbrown he is looking for more fun and a benefit to his club and class. I do like that peoples personalities change in this manga. It makes for more interesting interactions as 2 people can interact in 4 different states. I don't know if I've seen something like that before.

What I find most interesting is how Iruma's new version is, in essence, the same but in complete reverse as to what happened with Amelie's

It's quite intriguing!

Thanks for clarifying, I hope that the /a/ guys can keep translating at a good pace, and WHT would not make much of a fuss about this. Worst case would be both parties losing interest and drop the manga.

I think.

Well said.
This plus desire amplification I think?
Like he usually keeps it in himself thanks to his upbringing turning him into somewhat of a coward. Mostly we only knows what he wants through his inner monologue, like wanting to go home at first or not wanting to stand out. Now he can act/say them out.

This phase of his remove all his mental shackles, instead of simply turning him evil.
