Criticism is criticism. Be it harsh or not. The translation, typesetting, and redraws aren't as good as the other release. Their concerns about the quality drop are as valid as your criticism about their behaviour.

@Kanami-chan tell that to the guys that are complaining. I just didn't agree with CimmicaCocoa's statement about how people shouldn't criticize it if they don't like it.

I personally think that the translation and editing in this one is fine. Although it did drop in quality, but one is always better than none. Shaun, the translator/editor, did fine in my opinion.

Well then your opinion on the English release doesn't really matter as much. It's like someone saying "oh, well I get my water from Detroit so who cares if Flint has lead in theirs?"

Clearly you also don't know anything about scanlation either. @HikariGo has a great point, you have trash taking over scanlation, then the good groups will drop the manga and all you get is trash. Remember Mangastream?

@CimmicaCocoa Trash is trash. I already made several statements on why it's trash in my previous comment and this one, but if you want to handwave all criticism as "UH YOU'RE HURTING THEIR FEELINGS", then by all means, go for it. I'm not gonna eat literal shit for lunch and say "well it wasn't that bad, the cook could use some improvement but they tried their best."

Edit: Didn't realize this when I posted it, but it turns out someone randomly put out ch. 107 and 123. So there you go, @NeroPR and @CimmicaCocoa, that's what you get for condoning this crap. I can block SSSSS, but I can't block 62-63 since the guy filed it under 'no group'.

If you think that this is garbage, then wait for a TL group to translate this chapter, there isn’t any need for anyone to say “this is garbage.” Even if you think it is, keep it to yourself; this is totally free, after all, and it’s better that this exists than it doesn’t. Saying that the translation is trash in this comment section is the equivalent of walking up to the TLer’s face and saying “you did an awful job translating;” it’s extremely cancerous and mean. Either way, it’s an opinion, so this is my only comment, since I don’t want to waste my time in an unproductive comment war which accomplishes nothing but increasing the toxicity of this comment section (it’s already cancer enough as is)

@StorageCrate maybe you misunderstood me. I didn’t mean criticism is ‘hurting their feelings’, but they are not obligated to provide translations for you. Calling it ‘trash’ is NOT criticism. If you think it is, you need help. Criticism is telling them what they could improve on and helping. I very much doubt that the commenters saying JUST ‘tHIs iS GArbAgE’ have intentions of providing criticism.

Those complaining, this is a free translation. Don't be entitled. If you want to wait, then wait, but don't complain about the quality of free stuff. To who translated this, thank you for doing this for those of us who cant read Japanese.

I don't think you guys even read my posts, I both called it trash AND criticized it. I'll even repeat it again so you don't have any more excuses:

My first comment:
-You're missing commas and periods on pages 4-7, 10 , 15-20.
-You've mixed up past and present tense on page 4.
-You've mixed up present and future tense on page 7.
-'score the test' is the wrong phrase to use on page 5.
-You didn't even finish translating page 8, 11-13, 18, 20-21.
-Your grammar on the red moon-blue star question on page 11 is atrocious.

My second comment:
-"Deadbeat" spelled wrong.
-Redraw is literally just erasing the Japanese, and he couldn't even erase properly since there are still leftover black marks everywhere.
-Words blend into the background because he doesn't know how to outline them.

Like I said before, people actually defending this garbage is the literal equivalent of buying a sandwich filled with dog poop, and saying that the cook (who btw isn't even an actual cook and is just a dishwasher who got hired yesterday) did his best job and it's definitely not trash. I can't believe your standards are that low, and I can't believe you guys hate this manga so much that you thank someone for trashing the art.

And yes, I have experience scanlating so I suppose I can trash the shit out of it like it deserves. Disclaimer since you believe people who don't work on manga apparently can't criticize bad things.

Sniping a manga from a group that's literally releasing a new chapter every 3 days AND doing a trash job of it? That's the real cancer in the scanlation community right there. But if you want to continue to make excuses for this 'scanlator', by all means. Clearly you hate the manga enough to accept this garbage.

And yes, I believe people should be free to call things garbage without having to explain why it's garbage. Person puts out a shit job, of course they should expect complaints. It's no different than telling someone 'great job' without giving them an essay on why it was a great job. Praise is free, but so are insults.
