A lot of chapter uploaded around early-mid 2023 don’t have comments even on some popular manga. I didn’t start using MD until after that. But from what I’ve gathered through some context it seems the forums/comments were down for a while. So no one could really comment on chapters and I doubt people would go back to series they already read just to comment.

I also wish there were some more comments sometimes.
