The manager gives off Nodoka energy

Agreed. Copying what I said before: To me it seems more like Asako is explaining that her and Hato have a unique relationship with Miyako and Ruri, in that both of them know these idols as real people, or metaphorically as "neighbors;" (Ruri isn't literally a neighbor) so they can help them in that capacity. They can't directly help them with idol issues, as they don't know much about that life but they do know them as people, as "neighbors." Even though Asako is now dating Miyako, her desire to help her is not because of strictly romance. It doesn't sound right to me that they're not friends... Ruri has been going out of her way to see Hato, right? Even after the strategy meetings about Asako and Miyako were no longer necessary. That's pretty different from literal neighbors, roommates or coworkers who have little choice but to be in the same place. I think it makes more sense if by "neighbor" Asako meant a fellow human being, because she says it's still the main reason why she would help Miyako now, even after they have become partners. Neighbor can mean "fellow man" in English after all. Though I don't know if the word the original script has the same symbolic meaning.
Well, you had people 2 chapters after the main couple got together, asking for the relationship to "Move forward".Bruh.. You will know from this comment section who actually reads and comprehend, and those who just scroll through the drawings.. If you dont want to comprehend just go read doujinshis folks
Yeah They want story to move forward just to see them bang lol they really should just read doujinshis and shitWell, you had people 2 chapters after the main couple got together, asking for the relationship to "Move forward".
Again, only 2 Chapters after. It's clear that some folks just want to see 2 girls making out and that's it, instead of having a proper story with a well-developed cast of characters first.
Not that I wouldn't mind seeing the main couple being lovey-dovey, that's why I read Yuri, but this manga is not only about their relationship, or Asako's past relationship problems, but also about Miyako's past life as an idol, and the 2 characters that are being the focus of the story right now, are an integral part of these sides. (Mangaka being a listening ear to Asako in the past, which is why the roles are being reverse now, and Ruri pushing herself to the brink to fill the hole that Miyako left after leaving the group), so the fact that this subplot is surprising some people, is quite something lol.
