Looks like she still gets treated like a nobody even after getting her brooch back.

She's in a different country mate, the brooch thing only works in The Country of Magicians

oh boi, looks like this great LN got a manga.

In practice, this looks like the quantity over quality version of Witch Hat Atelier/Kino's Journey. Multiple times more pages, but the art doesn't quite capture Elaina's youth or the individual actions of each character. It's pretty amazing to read a 50+ page chapter, though.

Really like the protagonist, the world and art but I couldn't like that siscom girl, like...What she did was really awful and the fact that she thought about doing it right from the start after involving Elaina in a potentially serious accident AND after being saved too... come on, that's really bad.
But lucky, this is a journey with several stories, I couldn't enjoy the first one but I have high hopes for the rest.

Hey, I was looking for something like this. Seems really interesting. Thanks for translating it.

@DANDAN_THE_DANDAN doesnt look like it. Considering the first chapter and the title, seems to be more in the vein of Kino no Tabi/Mushishi than following a set of characters.

And here I thought Nike was the personification of a certain shoe brand that's written in a similar way.

Looks interesting, though the storytelling could use some polish.
I mean, "How did you know I was a witch?" when she's wearing stereotypical witch clothes is an incredibly forced way of introducing her witch brooch. Especially considering she's been wearing it for 2 years already.
And that "Flying in the sky is encouraged" sign is just bullshit. If you build roads and streets, you encourage walking. If the streets are too crowded, you'll naturally take to the air. There's absolutely no point in those signs, just as there's no point in "Driving in cars is encouraged" signs in our world.

Other than that, it appears to be quite enjoyable for a first chapter. Hopefully it stays that way.

@Aoitenshi
Nike's actually the Greek Goddess of victory. It is neither a coincidence nor a secret that the shoe brand company named itself after her.

I think we need more stories about the real Nike, so people are less likely to attribute her name to some shoe brand.

I liked the twist, it's just really weird that even the crash was deliberate. I'd maybe understand such a desperate plan if she had a reason to want Elaina specifically, but she did all that just to befriend someone? Eeeeeeehhh

But anyway, witches are my shit so this is easily good enough.

There's so many travelling manga that show how to introduce places and people in an organic and narratively interesting way, and this one just does one info dump after another. Tedious read; presumably based on typical trashy web novel material.

So theft is taken lightly in this place huh
pretty fitting for a setting which is based on Our Greatest Ally
