Yeah, what many people forget when reading or watching fictional fights is they are FICTIONAL. The differences in strength can also be way greater than IRL depending on the writer's narrative intention are. E.g. blocking a KICK with ONE ARM is an insane attempt. You can train as much as you want, but a leg is fundamentally more equipped with more bone density and muscles. You will definitely harm yourself much more than simply avoiding a kick. Perhaps you even break your arm with such a futile attempt.

So guys, enjoy your fights you have in media, But please don't attempt the same. You cannot defeat a kick with an arm blocking, you cannot defeat a knife wielder safely nor can you disarm a gunner without getting shot in the process.
