So jeanne's desire is to be a witch. Could it be because she only does what she's ordered to? Since she was being burned for being a witch and needing to repent and regret, she wants to become one so that she can really become what the french people want her to be.
Or am I theorieing too much into this ?

Japanese sure do love Jeanne d'Arc, huh. I wonder why.

It's fascinating how many Japanese media she is a part of. I know of two video games in which she's the main character(La Pucelle: Tactics and Bladestorm), a third one where she's a controllable character (Warriors Orochi 3), she's also in two manga (including this one) and I'm pretty sure there are far more things that exist that I don't know of.
