Everyone who responded to my message by trolling or explaining me life by smoking.... You are the dumbest persons I have read here so far and also the ones that swallow so hard all the years of marketing and advertising around smoking.

Smoking is shit and you are here defending it like it's the most natural thing you can do to ruin your fucking life. Damn.

And yes IT IS glamorizing it. No one is talking about how bad it is for your health, your money, the environment and the person around you. They are smoking like they are eating candy. And NO they are only smoking the "medicines" the witch is making.

And here I was expecting to not get that much of bad reactions since I wasn't talking about alcohol, lol.
Go back to school. You can't even speak English.

What's next, people complaining that NinKoro glamorizes murder?

FFS it is fiction.

Nobody defended smoking. Nobody talked about any benefits of smoking. Nobody said anything that even remotely sounds like the marketing and advertising you allude to.

I mean, if I'm wrong, then provide some quotes. Show where people posting here have said otherwise, or even implied otherwise.

And if not, then you appear to just be 'reading' what you want to see in their comments, just as you've decided to 'read' the manga and see what you want to see. Despite that the witches are wretched, broken people, clearly not all that well put together. Even the food shop owner.

You also need to get your head checked if you're the type of person who reads this and thinks the acts are being glamorized simply because the writer doesn't flat out tell you in black and white its bad. Does this manga also glamorize living in a sewer or garbage dump? Taking and selling drugs? Feeding and interacting with large amounts of wildlife? Living in idleness? You must be a real easy mark.

Since it hasn't gotten into your head, I'll also repeat what everyone else has said, again. The manga is literally called Witches and Cigarettes. Majo to Kyurasu. 魔女とくゅらす. Yes, it's the correct translation. Mangadex helpfully provides the alt name in freaking bold.

That means either you are a moron whose reading ability and attention to detail is astoundingly poor, unsurprising given your conclusions about the manga and it's readers. Or you are a moron who saw the word cigarette on the title, and deliberately decided from then on that the existence of this manga offends you and you have to come tell everyone about it. So which is it?

Why does this manga have to give everyone such tragic back stories... give me the fluff without the thorns :fml:
Wont be surprised if Tama also had a tragic backstory and shes being cheerful as a way to hide the pain

Everyone's talking about her traumatic past and argue about smoking, but no one noticed the store owner lady's almost (gay) awakening in page 11?

And like I said, every time the author draws those "magic marks" on the witches' faces, I just get astonished a little bit more. And this one's look especially tragic...

While you all argue about smoking...

Have you noticed that the manager is Hibachi from Yona Yona Yona?

Her reflection chilled me a bit, fuck, a thousand tortures evermore in the afterlife upon those who drove her to that point

It's perfectly fine to awaken, Manager-san. Us readers are here for that kind of thing.

Also lol at the toolbag tourist here whining about cigarettes as if kindergarteners are reading this. Go pursue a career in politics, dork.

This art is awesome when it focuses on the darker parts of this story, not a huge fan of the obsessive apprentice gag but art's so good I can ignore it.
