I'm surprised Kaido's manual has a pitch limit for starting pitchers considering the biggest complaint about traditional Japanese Highschool baseball is that they grind down their pitchers so hard. Also considering the absolute bullshit "training" Kaido made the Dream Island players go through, you'd think they of all schools would care about pitch counts the least.
