And it's only Cloneable, I only work on a one-on-one basis, you see. Working with me...well, I like to define it as a kind of close, personal experience (soft smile)

Goro to Toshi, roughly a decade later, returning the favour.

Almost poetic how it has come full circle.

I’m so happy that you are finally doing a translation of a series you actually enjoy! I was thinking, since ranting is exclusive to Major 2nd, how about a gush piece on why the chapter you translated was great?! That way you get some positivity from the series.

I'm gonna keep it real with you man, I have a PERSONAL beef with lurkers, I take that shit extremely personal, so the hypothetical people enjoying it without commenting do absolutely nothing for me. Just being honest.

Well, there's a lot of chapters, and I don't always have something interesting or introspective to say, but if I happen to really like the chapter I'll definitely consider it. Say, isn't Toshiya's face on P16 way too cute...? He's unmistakably the main heroine of this work

I’m glad to hear that although I honestly never heard that word before. I remember suggesting it a little while ago in the Major 2nd forums, but I never thought you would actually go to start Translating the original series. I’ve always heard of the differences between the manga and the anime, but because the translation has always been stuck I’ve never been able to fully experience those differences. So the fact that someone else is decided to continue, it has been awesome to say the least. Keep it up man for we all really appreciate it!

Oh, it totally is, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind about that. To begin with, the reason why the identity of Toshiya's wife is a mystery in the first place is because Mitsuda was (and, in short moments of lucidity, still is) thinking about the crazy fangirls (I'm not using this term demeaningly) who wrote non-stop fan mail addressed to Toshiya. The fact that Toshiya was EVEN married wasn't even a thing until mejaseca (ONORE MEJASECA).

To quote him:
Mitsuda: There were a ton of fan letters addressed to Toshi-kun. So, regarding Toshi-kun, I decided to leave it a mystery in the end. (laughs) Well, maybe it'd be better not to say too much about that. (laughs).

And in another question:
Mitsuda: Goro got a ton of fan letters from guys, there were fewer from girls, but there were still some. But people (he one hundred percent meant women here) who liked Toshiya sent him fan letters over and over again.

He couldn't have made it more clear.
