After this ordeal, I though the story was going towards Kunon becoming fascinated with strength and really getting into muscle training. Then somehow it would end up with said muscle training relating to an increase in magic capacity and/or better magic control, etc. Then his visiting fiance would collapse from shock after seeing that her once frail little "femboy" has now became a chiselled macho man.
But we can also go with some boring fire magic instead, I guess...
