I just find it interesting that i don't really root for the "good" side in this fight. Like not at all. Everyone is just selfish as fuck and you just want the little dude to be free from all of it. Including the supposed FMC.

After the last chapter's gags, I was expecting Sloth's trauma to be another joke. This is an interesting surprise.
And it's actual reference to comedy by Machiavelli about marriages, "Belfegor Archdevil", according to comments on Reddit.
her names onesta? cant make this shit up lmao
That's the wife's name from Machiavelli's novella.

That's kinda what happens when the author makes almost all characters "morally grey". There really should just be some characters which are good and some that are evil. It would make storytelling much easier to write and more often than not to digest.
This is not an universal rule mind you. Sometimes it is an interesting approach to make characters with conflicting values. Not in this case i'm afraid.

The two nuns are as morally good characters as it gets, that's a part why they didn't stop FMC despite her being demon, because for them priest is more important. The father-figure priest is also clearly good. Basically those close to MC are almost wholly morally good and well -meaning, it's the big organizations that are morally grey.

Understandable. In fact I stated that almost all characters are in the "grey area". These examples are the exceptions. The point i'm making is that the author is trying to make the reader "sympathize" with the clearly evil characters. Like the witches in this case which, as far as i remember, are very open to mass murder and creating chaos to pursuit their objectives. It feels weird I reckon, maybe the author had a different idea for the witches in the beggining of the manga and then changed its mind.
