Dang, I'm socked that sloth has a backstory that validates his angst. Still basing his whole world views on it and using it as the justification to end all life is a bridge way to far, but I'm happy it's not out of nowhere.

Fitting for Sloth to have the melancholic, depressed aspect to it. Although Belphegor didn't choose to wallow in apathy and instead decides to take measures to spread it (and a quiet end to the chaos of life) once he got the opportunity.

I'm done going to the comments on the other website those people are weirdly defending the mothers actions and have less compassion for sloth than they did the rape demon I should have have stopped when they were defending her to be honest

sometimes i forget how gruesome the series can get, he may be a nephilim, but seeing a child with his teeths pull out is kind of a lot

no demon could attain happiness ever it seems, due to god's curse
which makes me really worried about Imuri, every scenerio sounds really tragic

if her happiness is a love relationship with the priest, it will never come to fruitition
if her happiness is the priest finally giving up the fight, he will probably have to fight until death
if her happiness is the priest happiness, he's forever condemned

unles he's omegablessed by god himself (which may be)

Definitely back to some of what I love about this series, though it's really strange contrasting Sloth's tragic backstory with just how annoying he is. The setup for Sloth's almost paternal care for priest, more Nephilim pressure, and maybe a closer look at our mc's past all really building excitement after some sort of lackluster chapters.

There are theories in the fandom that say that Priest could be Lucifer without memories, as he had the desire to end the world together with Bel and it was he who proposed it, thus creating the Ark of Dreams given the strange situation he was in, in addition to how he acted strangely in the chapter against Asmodeus.
