Holy shit, the number of stupid fucking people in this comment section who don't understand the remarkably basic trope of falling in love with the person you're supposed to kill. It's so damn simple, but it's done really well here. And you know, maybe, maybe, MAYBE, the entire plan was to make them fall for each other so that when Imuri is found out and killed by the church (which they have made VERY CLEAR they will do to EVERY DEMON), the boy would turn against them.

Also, fuck the church. He's nothing but a weapon to them. He might be the only one who can stop what's happening, but that doesn't make them morally right. Lotta bootlickers in here.

What how this change anything about what been done killing her was still his job she's still here to manipulate him she said it herself right after she revealed she was a demon for no reason and if smart enough to no this is a basic you know she's not dead and she's still a at least hundreds of years old demon grooming a 15 year old
