This may actually be one of the better 'Former Party' breakdowns I've seen. The slow build up of clashing ideals and the fact that the final tip over actually legitimately was at least legally acceptable for the hero to do. Well done to the author.

I'm sure that this hero party is secretly supporter of demonlord since they did a hugh favor to demonlord to self-destruct without anyone in demonlord army have to lift any finger.

Got a couple of theories for the healer. First she turns into a ghost and haunts the hero as he goes deeper into his madness. Second she uses her magic to stop falling and plots for revenge against those she believes wronged her. And lastly she either joins or was apart of the demon lords army and goes after the hero and the mc.

Breaks the trope in so many ways.

• Not kicked out because "useless and we don't need you", but because the others (particularly leader) detest his remorseless killing.
• But being a "remorseless killer" was exactly what he was trained to be, including by them. So, hypocrisy on their part.
• Moreover, they treated him like a trash slave from the beginning.
• Leader is a self-righteous fool, who's identity is so tied up in being that, that he can't handle of the contradiction between his picture of himself and what he's actually done.
• Mage-bitch is also a fool, but an egotistical one -- no ideals just thinks of nothing but herself (wealth, riches, reputation).
• Ninja girl is so focused on the honor of her clan that she completed debases herself in an effort to prevent that a smudge on clan honor. So she's completely abandoned her own personal honor.
• And as for the healer... Well he's dead. And died off screen. Should have spoken up a bit more, guy!
• And the relationship between MCs... Oneesama. And they're already sleeping together!

To be fair to him he was right at the cliff, that killing was justified and I don't think she was still his comrade when she pushed him off the cliff.
