I'm sorry but since when did I give you any right to talk with me like that? Did your parents not educate you or did you not even have them to do so?
One more thing, fuck you and your repentance. I wanna see you tell to the family of a murder victim that the murderer changed his mind and is now repenting. FUCK YOU. ;)
You were being an ass, dude.

By the time Hydra found the MC, she'd been alone for at least a month searching for him while bearing the guilt towards her father and country about being de-facto kicked out of the hero party.

So she was on the verge of a mental breakdown as-is and when she saw the target of her search all happy and healthy instead of beIng like her (stressedanddespondent), she snapped. Especially after he declined her offer to return.

She wasn't responsible for her actions after that as is it happens with psychopathic episodes (ie insanity pleas).

So get off your high horse.

Yes, yes. She wasn't responsible for anything. Whatever.

Holy shit, I didn't know someone could actually repent and reflect on their actions in one of these stories.

Hehe, it happens. It's not all that common, but it does happen. Lessee... Lv 99 Jester, Saint of Black Kite, there was that one otome manhua/manga (I forget which, and forget the title) in which a pair of sisters screw over their little sister, who's the most talented alchemist of the three...

I could probably come up with 10-20 more examples, but considering my isekai trash list is... Checks About 1130, including titles that, sadly, have never had a chapter translated, and probably about a third of those are party expulsion... It's not common. :nyoron:

Best chapter so far. Hydra's mental disintegration was credible (on top of everything else, she'd been munching combat drugs to stay awake), as was the moral insight that led her toward redemption. I hope we get to see more of her in the near future.

(Threesome?)

Monk is still unforgivable but its good to see her repent and try and understand where Seto was coming from, as well as seeing how her own mindset was hypocritical of her supposed humanity. I'm still mad at her tho.

I don’t why people are still bashing her. All she did was :
1. Agree to kick out Seto
2. Chase after him and attack him after going crazy
Yes, she might’ve been trying to kill him, but she was also breaking under the burden of her responsibilities & crazy. She was still trying to do the “right thing” before going entirely crazy. Also, nice chapter

Good girl award.

Nice to see somebody know their mistake, reflect, and take appropriate actions.

If only our world was so rosy... :haa:

This panel looks like something out of a high impact yuri bdsm doujin.

I mean, I get the bashing her. She let a fellow of her party be treated horribly, who was a 'child' soldier, voted him out, broke down after herself being kicked out, then attacked him and tried to kill him when he refused to come back (completing her breakdown). Not exactly a past of glory there.

All that said, I don't get the 'unredeemable' or 'burn her' comments in the chat? She wasn't part of the hero party who became bandits. For all that she did things that she needs to atone for (and has started down the redemption path in this chapter), AFAIK, she didn't murder anyone. And the person she did try to kill in battle after her complete breakdown (Seto) is a warrior and not a helpless civilian (like the other hero party members), nor was she trying to sneak attack him or anything.

Throw her in jail (they did), deal with her (criminal sentences are for punishment and redemption, for all that the US media & politicians seems to have forgotten that redemption is supposed to be part of the process), and then keep on. Nothing she did rose to the level of a death sentence, though she was heading that route.
