They're all thrown (Kyousai and Mio's party) in a maze-like dungeon/place because Mio fucked up/got distracted using the angel's power while summoning the portal moments before they got captured by the people from the castle (the maids ratted their plan to look for Kyousai and friends).
Inside that maze-like place there are 4 parties, party 1 Misha + Leia + Mio + the couple (muscle head dude and the small magician chick), party 2: the "top heroes" party (the sword dude and his people that were sent off by the King quite a couple of chapters ago to do missions and stuff), party 3: Kyousai party (Zero + Kyousai + Luna + glasses girl (turns out she was a member of party 4) that Kyousai found on his way through the maze-like place, she was about to kill herself but was stopped by him).
The "top heroes" party are fighting a Mantis-like creature that controls 3/4 of the members from party 4 with tentacles going through their bodies.
